I actually think a combination of the answers posted by Simetraz, Abdiel Kavash and myself would probably be correct. Question is which of those answers will fit the best to each question?

Actually, you and Lord Zim should be receiving Report cards for your Forum skills, or lack thereof.
In case you hadn't noticed, some players have stated I like to do that option quite a lot.

You also make a lot of sensible posts, not all of which I agree with, but you do at least have the ability to engage in serious discourse without needing to resort to evasive tactics.
That may be so but most of the replies I see in this thread do not follow the guidelines, rules and regulations pertaining to the forums.
I was also asked to apply for CCL but I declined. Why?
Because I would probably name my character Davy Jones, kill a lot of replies and send a lot of threads to 'The Locker'.

Well, I'm glad it amuses you.
Nonetheless, everything I posted is true. The OP was perfectly fine and had some legitimate replies. However, he was personally attacked by others who were trying to incite a flame war and derail this thread by posting sarcastic, disrespectful, demeaning, berating and offensive replies directed towards the OP.
I personally detest seeing that and have been guilty of doing that myself in the past. But I was shown the error of my ways and have vowed to post replies as per Forum Rules. Now when I see it getting out of hand, I'll post a reminder to those involved and if continued, will just issue 'Report Cards'.
Now that we've gotten off-topic, it's probably best to do as the great Stan Lee says - 'Nuff Said'.

Well, I'm sorry you feel that way. He didn't draw first blood and now you wanna continue doing it with me.
Seems Diplomacy is a skill not too many players want to use.
